Luther's father Monroe Cobb was my grandfathers Uncle as Monroe was  my grandfathers Mothers bother. I used to go stay for the summer at Luther's mothers house Minnie Cobb I always called him Uncle Luther he was a good man I remember him having a lot of cattle dogs I will never forget Luther Cobb .. Nor My Aunt Minnie they were the finest people that i ever knew. .. tropixstarz@hotmail.com

Mr.Cobb was a regular customer at are store..We all knew when he was coming-and would never ever take a receipt..I'm guessing that's how much trust he had in us!!Prayers for your wife and family..

Luther was the closest thing to a father-in-law I have had for the past 17 years. He was a good ol' country boy and as full of bull as anyone you will ever come across.  He had a heart of gold and would give you the shirt off of his back if you needed it.  However, he would prefer to know you would work hard and earn your own shirt.  We were married at his Log Cabin on the Hill in Kurten and lived on his place for the first five years of our marriage. We loved, learned and laughed a lot and our girls have such fond memeories of "Papa Luther" as do we. We agreed today that we just all assumed he'd live forever, so today was a sad day for us - but we know he's in a peaceful place and we'll all see him again when our time comes.  

We love you and hope to get to Kurten before too long and have a beer with the funniest beer drinking mules anyone has ever seen. :-)

Luther was a dear sweet friend and neighbor to the Putz family.We will miss him dearly.May God help your family through this difficult time.

Luther Cobb lived across the street from my home on Ashburn and he was always nice to me. As a kid; I remembered that and it is one of those growing-up memories we all have.

Luther was a great freind to my dad Bill Putz. They were neighbors for many years and friends before that. I am sure they are together again now swapping yarns and waiting for the rest of us.

I have known Luther for many years. I met him when I was a little girl, he and my dad did some horse trading. He was always so sweet and had a smile on his face. I didnt see him for many years until I came to work for his insurance agent. He always put a smile on my face when he walked through the door for no other reason that seeing him brought back some wonderful memories from my childhood. He was always down to earth and just a good ole country boy. My prayers go out to the family in your time of grief. He will truly be missed

Luther always had a story to tell and loved telling it and laughing with others!  I remember all of the good times on the porch at MoMo & Minnie's House with my parents - Frank & Gladys Shirley.

PaPa Luther was a great man who loved his ranch and cows. I will always remember when he would drive up and honk his horn for us to go check cows.  Who can forget his mules and when he took us on a buggy ride!  Thank you for the great memories and you will be greatly missed.
