Makayla Elizabeth Rodriguez

Makayla Elizabeth Rodriguez, 9, of Bryan passed away March 22, 2016 at McLane Children’s Scott & White Hospital in Temple, Texas. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Friday, March 25th at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. A Celebration of Makayla’s life will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 26th at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Bryan.

Makayla was born March 26, 2006 in College Station, the daughter of Sonia Rodriguez and Antonio Correa, Jr. She attended Neal Elementary School and was a member of Skybreak Church. Makayla was a true animal lover and enjoyed being outside, helping on the farm, riding horses, and riding on the tractor. Makayla was the girl that could light up a room just by walking in and never knew a stranger. Everyone that knew Makayla loved Makayla.

Left behind to cherish Makayla’s memory are her parents, Sonia and Antonio Correa; four sisters, Alexis, Addison, Miranda and Malyna Correa; grandparents, Angel & Christina Delgado, Mary Jane & Francisco Aguillon, Barbara & James Duron, Rosie & Beto Mata and Victor & Nene Rodriguez; great grandparents, Delores & Matias Ocon, Gloria & Alfredo Aguillon, and Maria & Julian Delgado, Betty Duron; an uncle, Francisco Aguillon, Jr., and numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins.
