A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, March 18, 2024 at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. Pastor John Ferguson of Mercy Hill Church will officiate. Following the service military honors will be presented by the U.S. Army and the American Legion Earl Graham Post #159.
Marcel was born July 3, 1947 in Vintondale, PA. the son of George and Simone (Cosemille) Gresko. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. While serving, he met his wife Marylene. During both their time in the U.S. Army they were stationed all over the world. After they were honorably discharged from Army, they settled in Copperas Cove, TX to raise their three sons.
Marcel was a kind but no nonsense type of man. He would put his family first and loved his grandchildren more than anything in this world. He loved to put together puzzles, model cars and was constantly looking for something new to build. In his spare time, he loved to attend rock festivals.
Marcel is preceded in death by his wife, Marylene; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Annette; and a brother, Michelle.
He is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law, Michael Gresko Sr., Marcel Jr. and April Gresko; grandchildren, Michael Jr., Ashlyn, Andrea, Joshua and Natalie, one great-grandchild on the way; and nieces and nephews.
