Mary Ann Gilmore

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2024 from 5 – 7 pm with a rosary to follow beginning at 7:00 pm at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am Friday, April 26, 2024 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Bryan. Reverend Rakshaganathan Selvaraj of St. Anthony's Catholic Church will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Mary Ann was born January 15, 1940, in Hartford, Connecticut the daughter of Anthony and Rose (Rossetti) Rose. Maryann started a career as a beautician in owning the Magic Mirror Beauty Salon in Simsbury, CT. She also had a successful Avon business, was a skilled leather work assistant, an energetic, fun Girl Scout leader and a dedicated Wal-Mart employee, during her 50+ years in Bryan. She was a devout member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.

MaryAnn is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Joe Lee and a daughter, Katherine Gomez.

She is survived by one special angel and godchildren Lucinda (Rose) General, Judy (Stone) Leeper, Leslie (Stone) Coleman, Robertson Michaud, and other nieces and nephews.

MaryAnn’s loving and giving personality often expressed thanks for the dedicated care of friends and family, especially Bubba and LeeAnn Garcia, Leah Crement, Danny Serna, Martha Moore and Sandra Dean.

It is requested that donations be made to St Anthony’s Catholic Church 401 South Parker Bryan, TX 77803 or that living plants rather than cut flowers be given to honor life.
