Mary Marjorie Goebel. 78, entered into rest on December 1, 2010 at St. Joseph Manor in Bryan. A funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 4, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Marjorie was born January 8, 1932 in Bryan, Texas, the daughter of John and Barbara McDonald Goebel. She was a life long member of Beta Sigma Phi. Marjorie retired from Texas A&M University after working for 20 years as the bookkeeper for the Graduate College.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Sarah Goebel and Barbara Nell Corum.
Survivors include her sister, Beverly Gangi; nieces and nephews, Barbara Hamilton, Diane Read, Carol Redwine, Cathy Brunson, Tim Corum, Jarrell Corum, Marsha Hoffnagel, and nine great nieces and nephews.
