

Milton Leroy Pack, 79, of Bryan, passed away Monday, September 26, 2016 at the Hospice Brazos Valley Inpatient Facility in Bryan. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM, Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Rest-Ever Memorial Park, with full military honors, provided by the American Legion, Earl Graham Post 159.
Milton was born January 31, 1937 in Bishop, Texas, the son of Woodrow and Lorene Pack. He served in both the US Army and the US Air Force, during the Korean War. After returning to civilian life he went to work for the State of Texas Department of Transportation as a Traffic Light Technician, where he eventually retired. Milton was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Bryan, and loved studying the Bible. He loved being outdoors, either fishing on his boat, working in his garden or giving his grandchildren rides on the wagon. Milton also enjoyed woodworking and working on computers, but mostly he loved to piddle, always keeping busy with the next project.
Milton was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Lorene Pack; a grandson, Jason Pack; a sister, Becky Anderson; and a sister-in-law, Iva King.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Geraldine Pack; his four children, Thomas Wayne Pack and wife, Kay, Karol Sue Pack, David Lee Pack and wife, Marie, Katharine L. Nance and husband, Richard;a sister, Joyce Dunklin; his sixteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
