Norma Jean Dealy, age 85, of Bryan, Texas passed away on Wednesday August 21, 2019. The family will receive friends Sunday, August 25, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. A funeral service will be Monday, August 26, 2019 at 10:00 AM at A&M United Methodist Church, 417 University Drive, College Station, Texas 77840, with Pastor Preston Greenwaldt officiating. Interment will follow at the Aggie Field of Honor.

Norma was born August 10, 1934 in Dallas, Texas, the daughter of Silas and Adeline (Clark) Southern. She was married to Bud Dealy for 40 years and together they shared 4 children. Norma was preceded in death by her parents, Silas and Adeline Southern, and step daughter Lynn Randall.

Survivors include her husband, Bud Dealy; brother, Silas “Eddie” Southern & his wife Susan; children, Julie Cochran & her husband Bob, Janis Godby & her husband Steve, and Jeff Dealy & his wife Sheryl; grandchildren, Scott Randall, Sarah Sims, Amy Jones, Clint Godby, Shelly Cochran, Cameron Cochran, Jessy Riddick, Jaxson Dealy, and Harrison Dealy; great grandchildren, Wilder Jones, Tillie Jones, and Shepherd Sims.

During her lifetime, she was an accomplished executive assistant, and she enjoyed tennis, skiing, ballroom dancing, and bridge. She will forever be remembered by her family and friends for the spirit of love that shined from her heart and smile.
