Pauline Scarmardo Restivo

Visitation will be from 5 – 7 pm Wednesday, October 15 with an Altar Society Rosary at 4:30 pm and Rosary at 7:00 pm at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am Thursday at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Pauline was born March 10, 1927 in Burleson County the daughter of James M. and Mary (DiMaria) Scarmardo. She graduated Caldwell High School in 1944, then attended MeKinzie Baldwin Business School. She worked at Bryan Air Force Base, Then Kwolen’s Department Store, and finally Montgomery Wards.

After She married Luke Restivo, she worked at St. Vincent DePaul, and for Clint Sebesta Cotton Company and Bryan Cotton Compress. Pauline was a longtime member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, the Altar Society and the Holy Rosary Society.

Pauline is preceded in death by her parents; James and Mary Scarmardo; husband, Luke L. Restivo; son, Luke J. Restivo; brothers, Luke James Scarmardo, Sandyr M. Scarmardo and Marion J. Scarmardo; grandchildren, Jonathan L Lenz and Tammy Restivo Kaminchie.

She is survived by her daughter, Josephine R. Sodolak and husband Charles; son, Samuel C. Restivo and wife Cecilia; daughter, Christine Barnett; twelve grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, numerous great-great and great-great-great-grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.
