

Rebecca Anne Wells, lovingly known as Becky, age 66, passed away peacefully at her home in Bryan, Texas on August 29, 2025 surrounded by family and friends. She was born on November 8, 1958, in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Becky was a woman of warmth, strength, and compassion. She was deeply devoted to her family and friends, always ready with a kind word, a listening ear, and a giving heart. She was also known for using her culinary skills to help the community, family, and friends. Those who knew her will remember her smile, her humor, and the way she made everyone feel welcome and cared for.
Becky graduated from H.M. King High School in 1976 and went on to study restaurant management at Del Mar College in Corpus Christi from 1977 to 1980. While in Corpus Christi, she worked at Luby’s. During her time in Kingsville, she was employed at Central Drugstore. In 1982, Becky moved to Bryan to work for the Texas A&M. During her time in Bryan, she also worked at Texas Municipal Power Agency, College Station ISD, Cracker Barrel, Homewood Suites, the U.S. Census Bureau, and several other places. Becky was a valued member of the Briarcrest Ward of the LDS Church, inspiring those around her with her faith and dedication.
She is survived by her father, Vaden Wells (Lucile); her brother Jim Wells (Marilyn); her sister Cynthia Garcia; her daughters Jennifer Guajardo (Josh), and Misty Kullenberg Stapp (William); and her beloved granddaughters Hayley Guajardo and Gracie Stapp.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Esther Wells; her aunt, Elizabeth Walton; ex-husband, Walter Kullenberg; brother-in-law, George Garcia; and numerous other family members.

A celebration of Becky’s life will held on Friday, September 5 at 7:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan with visitation one hour prior to service time. Family and friends are invited to come together to honor her memory and share the many stories of love and joy she brought into the world. Burial will be on Monday, September 8th ay 11:00 am at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Corpus Christi.
Becky’s legacy of love, laughter, and faith will live on in all who were blessed to know her.
