I was a student of Bob's at UIW in the 80's. He was a great teacher who always had a positive message. I will remember him fondly. My condolences and prayers go out to his wife and children.

I was a student at UIW back in the 80's, and I will have to say that as a business student, he was a fantastic professor, and a great influence.  He took the time to make our classes meaningful, and he always had great advice.  Our hearts go out to the entire family.

My deepest condolences to Mr. Caldwell's family. I always looked forward in being in his classroom.  His style of teaching made it like you were having a conversation with him and yet, you learned something that day.  He is "THE" professor that I remember the most.  Class of 83.

We share your sorrow and pray that God will bless and comfort you. Bob was a wonderful friend and neighbor and an outstanding Air Force officer and teacher. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Bob influenced many students while at Incarnate Word.  His friendliness and positive attitude will be missed.  My condolences to the entire family.

Bob taught the capstone course at UIW.  His course was the last one in many of the student's studies, and his positive attitude helped shape many lives.  I worked with him for about 12 years and found his advice and counsel to be invaluable.  My condolences to Bev and the entire family.

Dear Bev,

Bob was a wonderful, caring teachr while at Incarnate Word. I don't believe we've met, but I served as the dean of the Business School from 1986 until 1990 and was privileged to have Bob as a member of the business faculty. Bob, Vic Prosper and Bob Lamb, all retired Air Force Officers, served on the faculty during my tenure, and all were superb teachers. Incidentally, I was a retired Army Officer.

My sincerest sympathies reach out to you and your family during this time of great sadness.
