Robert was my 1st cousin once removed and visited our family in NY on his way to West Point. I asked him how he could go to West Point since he didn't have a Congressman to appoint him. He said that that the President of the United States had. We had a huge pile of snow in the yard that day and Robert was delighted because he
had never seen snow.  Soon my two brothers showed him what a good snowball fight was like.  He loved it!
