Robert "Bobby" Wayne Penicka

Visitation will be from 5 – 8 pm Wednesday, January 28 at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Smetana Cemetery.

Bobby was born October 23, 1965 in Caldwell the son of Joe William and Gladys Marie (Maresh) Penicka. Bobby and Robin have been together for 36 years meeting March 31, 1990, and had a loving relationship until his death. He loved working his cattle on the family farm, being on the tractor bailing hay with his #1 rake hand, Robin. He said, “she was the best rake hand he ever had”. Or riding around on the farm in his side by side. If you couldn't find Bobby and Robin on the farm you could find them cat fishing on the Little Brazos River. He was loved by all family and friends and would do anything for them.

Bobby is preceded in death by his parents; and his in-law, Howard Sr. and Margaret (Bomnskie) Gott.

He is survived by his wife, Robin Penicka; brother, Joe “JR” Penicka; stepsons, Cody and Wes Blinka Jr.; step-grandchildren, Robert, Jacob and Kilee; aunt, Mary Ann Morille; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Howard Jr. and Dawn Gott, Preston and Tina Gott, Keith and Myra Gott; and numerous cousins and friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be Rodney Bledsoe, Ricky L. Bomnskie, Ricky W. Bomnskie, Aaron Cathey, Colby Fagan, Charles Regmund, Felix Torres, Jr. and Kelly Waggoner.
