

Rojelio Ortiz Arellano, 36, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2015 at his home in Bryan. Visitation is set for Friday, May 15 at Memorial Chapel in Bryan from 5-9pm, with a rosary to be recited at 7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2pm on Saturday, May 16 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Monsignor John McCaffrey officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Rojelio Ortiz Arellano, better known as "Roy" was born on August 22, 1978 in Hearne, Texas to Jose Carmen Arellano and Maria (Ortiz) Arellano. He worked at Andy Carlos Concrete as a concrete finisher for 14 years. Roy was fun, loving and always made jokes. He loved taking pictures and having pictures taken of him. His family was his life; he loved his children and his wife very dearly. He was a hard worker and a huge Aggie at heart. Roy loved listening to music, playing with the kids and taking them to La Perla. His kind and playful heart will be greatly missed and the memories of him will be cherished forever.
Roy is preceded in death by his father, Jose Carmen Arellano and father-in-law, Andy Carlos, Sr.
He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Alejandra Carlos; children, Robert Tarin, Diego Tarin, Mya Arellano and Leah Arellano; mother, Maria Arellano; five brothers, Juventino Arellano and wife Socorro, Mario Arellano, Freddy Arellano and wife Josie, Lupe Arellano and Fernando Arellano; one sister, Flora Bañuelos and husband Tino; mother-in-law, Dolores Carlos; brothers-in-law, Andy Carlos, Jr. and wife Gracie, John Carlos and wife Linda; sister-in-law, Teresa Juarez and husband Job and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
