

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday April 26 with a rosary service at 7:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.
Rosie was born August 29, 1929 in Bryan the daughter of Sam and Carrie (Carrabba) Ruffino. She met and later married Joe B. Patranella on November 24, 1946. Mr. Patranella passed away July 5, 1965, leaving Rosie to raise her four young children by herself. She supported them by working two jobs. She was a bookkeeper for Fabric Care and a sales person for Teague Furniture and later Crown Furniture. After retiring, she moved to Hillsboro to live with her daughter Lynda, where she enjoyed attending church with her at Hillsboro Church of Christ. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary V.F.W. Post 4692 and St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.
Rosie is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a grandson, Joe Duncan.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Joseph Ray and Gayle Patranella of Bryan; daughters and sons-in-law, Lynda and Tad Duncan of Hillsboro, Karen Ann and Floyd Berry of Cameron, Rose Marie and Randy Berryhill of Caldwell; sister, Marie Darby of Cameron; grandchildren, Marcus Ray Patranella, Joseph Brandon Patranella and wife Crystal, Samuel Wayne Berry and wife Misty, Shelly Berry Hebb and husband Dave, Jenny Duncan Hale and husband Matt, Amy Duncan Hartman and husband Trey, and Crystal G. Berryhill; great-grandchildren, Joseph Ray II, Marcus Hayden, Benjamin Brazos, Sarah Ruth, Matthew Duncan, Colby Joseph, Ryan Tad, Isabella Grace, Emma Rose, Presley Rae and Trenton Wayne.
