Shawn Rudasill

Psalms 91:1

Shawn Rudasill, our beloved Father, Son, Brother and Papa went to be with the Lord on Saturday June 8th, 2024.

Shawn was born in Bryan, Texas to Faye Cook and Bobby Rudasill on November 5th, 1964. He spent his younger years in Bryan where he graduated from Bryan High School then continued his education at Texas A&M University.

Shawn was an avid outdoorsman he loved to hunt and fish but golf was his true passion. If he wasn’t behind the computer at Rexel you could find him hanging out at the beach or spending time with his family. Shawn was a devout christian and his love for the Lord was unwavering.

He is preceded in death by his father; Robert “Bobby” Rudasill and bonus Dad; Sam Cook.

Shawn is survived by his mother, Faye Cook; sister Michele (Kyle) McNew; brothers Gardner (Karen) Rudasill, Kevin Rudasill, Clay Rudasill, Clint Cook, and Cody Cook; sons Tyler (Megan) Rudasill, Joshua (Falisha) Rudasill, and Kaegan O’Byrne. He was blessed with 3 grandchildren; Rylee and Zoey Rudasill, Mason Sustaita; niece’s Janette and Maddie McNew-Hickerson; nephew Brayden Hickerson; partner Kimberley Long.

Shawn will be deeply missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. His infectious laugh, words of wisdom and unconditional love will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.

The family will welcome visitors on Thursday, June 13th, 2024 from 5:30-7:30pm at Memorial Funeral Chapel. A service honoring the life of Shawn will be held on Friday, June 14th at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan at 10 am, interment to directly follow at Bickham Cemetery.
