Steven W. Shillings, 49, of Bryan, passed away Saturday, October 2 at his home in Bryan. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, October 5, at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at the funeral home with Reverend John Free officiating. Interment will followed at Rest-Ever Memorial Park Cemetery in Bryan.
Steven was born in Bryan November 8, 1960 to Gene and Martha Lowery Shillings. He graduated from Bryan High School in 1979 and attended Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana. He was a life long member of First Baptist Church in Bryan.
Steven is survived by his parents, Gene and Martha Shillings of Bryan; two brothers, Larry Shillings of Bryan and Jeff Shillings and his wife Julie of Katy; one nephew and four nieces, Brian, Suzanne, and Sarah Shillings and Scarlett and Victoria Shillings; his aunts, uncles, and cousins.
