Terry Lane Stephenson, 64, passed away on April 7th, 2019, in Bryan, Texas.

Terry is survived by his two daughters Natalie and Victoria, his brothers Ted, Bill, and Phillip and his sister Charlotte. He is preceded in death by his wife Evelyn (Jeanie) Stephenson, father Eddie Royce Stephenson, and mother Henrietta Stephenson.

Terry was born on January 14th 1955 in San Antonio, Texas to parents Eddie Royce and Henrietta Stephenson.

Terry was a great family man and a gentle and loving father. He married Jeanie in 1986 and the couple had two daughters together.

Terry was a humble, kind man who was deeply involved in the field of Information Technology for the majority of his life. He enjoyed traveling, photography, golf, birdwatching and cooking for his family. Those close to Terry will always remember him as a kind hearted, humorous person who loved God and his family more than anything. Terry had a big heart and a generous spirit and is beloved by all who had the pleasure to meet him. Terry often lent his shoulder to those in need of a good cry or an ear for those in need for good advice. Terry loved everyone who let him and that love is what we remember him most for, the love of a friend, a brother, a son, an uncle, a husband, and a father.

A visitation is scheduled from 5-7 PM on Thursday, April 11th, at Memorial in Bryan. The funeral will be on Friday, April 12th at 2 PM at Boswell Cemetery in Huntsville, Texas. Pastor Keith Castleberry will officiate. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Terry’s life.

in my mind Terry will always be the fun loving, amazing hair , and really sweet and kind cousin I had the pleasure of spending the summers with. My mother, Clara Green, Who everyone called Sissy, Made sure that we spent a lot of family time with our cousins and Uncle Eddie and Aunt Henrietta. We spent a lot of time splashing in the pool and running up and down the stairs and Playing jokes on everyone. I don’t think anyone could make my mother laugh as much asTerry did. I know for a fact that they are in heaven laughing now and happily reuniting with family members as we all will one day. I remember sitting in the parlor, my favorite room in their house as it was so elegant, reading a book and pretending this was my room in my own little world, only to be scared and surprised by Terry who thought it was so fun To make me lose my place in the book I was reading .

I have you all in my heart and in my prayers, as I know this will be a difficult bittersweet day. While you are happy that he’s no longer in pain it will be difficult not being able to see his face or hear his voice. His daughters can take comfort in the fact that their mom and dad are together in heaven again and will be watching over them very proud I’m sure as they grow and live their lives.

Never forget how much he loved all of you and How very proud he was to be a Stephenson, man of God, son, brother, husband, dad, Uncle, cousin, etc. as he wore many hats.

Go in faith and love and always remember he is saving a spot for you in heaven, where we will all meet again one day thanks to our Lord and Savior. Dawn Green-Gonzales

Though I haven't seen Terry in years, I remember how fun-loving and family-oriented he was. There were many visits to his childhood family home where we were always welcomed with love and laughter. Terry had a great big smile that will forever remain in my memory. My condolences to his children and to all of his siblings and family members.
