

Ursula Waleska Mossakowski, 82, of Bryan, passed away Thursday, March 18, 2010 at her home. A memorial service is scheduled for 12 p.m. Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Chapel. Family members will be taking Ursula to Poland at a later date to be laid to rest.
Ursula was born February 19, 1928 in Kobylin, Poland to Hermann and Hildegard Pawletta. She married Alphonse Mossakowski in 1955. 3 years later through the sponsorship of the Daughters of the American Revolution, she received her American citizenship in Cincinnati, Ohio. Ursula was bilingual and had traveled extensively across Europe and the United States. She had a passion for art, music, literature, and sewing. In her spare time she was both a wonderful gardener and cook. She was a member of the Texas Women Business Association. Ursula was also a long time member of the Bluebonnet Quilt Guild and the charitable organization RSVP.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband Alphonse Mossakowski; children, John Pawletta, Joseph Mossakowski, Edward Mossakowski, Edna Schulz, Marie Sarver, and Daniel Mossakowski; 14 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; family in Germany and numerous friends.
The family would like to especially thank Dr. Frederick Tan and Dr. Julie Lim, Davita Dialysis Clinic, Hospice, and Legacy E.M.S. for the great care and friendship they showed to Ursula.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Texas Home Health Hospice at 1605 Rock Prairie Road, College Station.
