A visitation for Viola will be held Monday, September 22, 2025 at 12:00 PM at St Joseph Catholic Church, 600 E 26th St, Bryan, Texas 77803. A rosary & Mass of Christian Burial will follow visitation at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Viola was a compassionate woman who loved to lend a helping hand to anybody in need. She loved to sing, dance, cook and play bingo. Her favorite hobbies were to work on word finds, ride around to see what's going on around town and spend time with family.
Viola is survived by a huge family that she loved unconditionally. Her husband of 47 years, Carman J. Garay; nine children, Faustino, Alfredo, Esmeralda, Monica, Veronica, Angelica, Simon, Alma and Valentin Garay; eighteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved by every single one of them.
