Virginia A. Ruffino, 88 of Bryan, Texas, passed away February 20, 2013 at home. Visitation will be Thursday February 21, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. A rosary will be recited by Msgr. John Malinowski at 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. A funeral mass will be offered February 22, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. by Rev Patrick Ebner, pastor at St. Anthony Church assisted by Msgr. John Malinowski. Graveside services will follow at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband John Ruffino in 1970; her parents Joe and Lula Campise Accurso; sisters and brothers-in-law Josephine and Bruce Everitt, Grace and Jasper Todaro, Mary and Tony Todaro, and brothers Joe and Paul Accurso.
Mrs. Ruffino is survived by her three sons and their spouses: Richard and Doris Ruffino; Larry and Marianne Ruffino; Roland and Vicki Ruffino. Also surviving are her grandchildren and spouses: Melanie and Dwayne Skinner; John and Lynette Ruffino; Lynnsie Ruffino; Michael and Laura Ruffino; Monica and Randy Trevino; Melissa Ruffino; Paul and Jessica Ruffino. Great grandchildren include Leanne and Jeff Kocian; Lisa Skinner; Jaclyn Ruffino; Lauren Ruffino; Austin Skinner; Isla Ruffino and Great-Great granddaughter Evelyn Kocian.
Mrs. Ruffino was also blessed to be survived by her sister Dottie and her husband Dr. James B. Wilson of Bryan, Texas and sister-in-law Nancy Accurso of Mt. Prospect, Illinois. Numerous nieces and nephews reside in Bryan-College Station, Houston and Chicago.
