Arthur Thomas Finney II

June 18, 1953 - January 24, 2025

It is with great sadness that the Finney family announces the recent passing of Arthur Thomas Finney ll, nickname Tom. Tom passed away peacefully in his home in Bullhead City, Arizona January 24, 2025. He was 71 years old. Tom was born to Arthur Thomas and Nancy Margaret Finney on June 18th 1953 at USAF Hospital Luke Air Force Base Glendale, Arizona.

Tom was a Graduate of Northern Arizona University with a degree in Police Science and Administration Class of 1975. Tom was also a self accomplished piano player.

His entire work life was dedicated to law enforcement including Coconino County Sheriff’s Department, Federal Correction officer at Lompoc Federal Prison, and Top Secret Security Clearance at

Vandenberg Air Force Base.

Tom was dedicated to ensuring the legacy of his late father Colonel Arthur Thomas Finney Fighter Pilot MIA/POW of the United States Air Force, whose aircraft was shot down in Vietnam.In remembrance of Tom’s lifelong commitment in this effort, his memory and accomplishments, we ask that in lieu of flowers donations be made in his honor to Veterans of Foreign Wars, your local VFW or Berea College of Berea, Kentucky.

Tom is survived by his younger brother Brian Scott Finney, Sister-in-Law Denise Finney, Nephew Russell Thomas Finney, Nieces Jacqueline Rachel Finney McGilvray, Christina Elizabeth Finney, Vanessa Nichole Finney. Great-Nephews and Nieces Anthony Michael Finney, Idyn Bryce Garcia, Elza Stroud McGilvray, Fern Clara McGilvray and Gene Sequoia McGilvray. As well as dear Cousins and Friends.
