Christopher Paul Kauflin, beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on January 14, 2026 at the age of 43. Though our hearts are still grasping this loss, especially having lost our dad/husband only months ago, we hold on to the impact of his love, laughter and spirit that defined him.
He is predeceased by his grandparents, 2 aunts, 1 uncle and father. He is survived by his mother, 3 brothers, sister, brother-in-law, 2 nephews and 2 nieces, and extended family members who loved him deeply.
He will always be remembered for his humor, his love for basketball, music, art, food, and his knack for giving iconic nicknames and the best gifts. His unique outlook and passion for living simply reminded others of the things that truly matter.
A private service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Alliance for Mental Illness or Bureau of Land Management.
