Jim proudly served as a veteran of the United States Air Force and carried that sense of commitment and pride throughout his life. He was a friend to everyone he met, with a gift for making people feel valued and appreciated. A great listener, Jim genuinely enjoyed connecting with others and hearing their stories.
He loved the ocean and the West, and split his time between Bullhead City, Arizona, and Mansfield, Ohio. Both places became part of a life filled with meaningful friendships and memories.
Jim was also known for his heartfelt letters. He believed in the personal touch of a handwritten note and a real conversation. His letters brought his humor, unique sayings, and unmistakable voice to those lucky enough to receive them.
Above all, Jim will be remembered for the way he made people feel — bringing laughter, comfort, and kindness wherever he went. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
