

Joseph Grey Hartnell, 62, passed away of natural causes in Bullhead City, Arizona. Born in Japan while his father, Allyn Lee Hartnell, served in the United States Air Force, Joseph’s early life reflected the dedication and service that would come to define his own character.
Joseph attended schools in New Mexico and Lompoc, California, where he developed the strong work ethic that became his hallmark. Throughout his career, he was known as a reliable and committed professional who simply showed up, day after day, embodying integrity and dependability that earned the respect of colleagues and employers alike.
A devoted automotive enthusiast, Joseph found fulfillment in working on vehicles and attending classic car shows, where his passion for mechanical craftsmanship and automotive history came alive. His weekends were often spent behind the grill, hosting barbecues for family and friends, and enjoying his favorite sports. These gatherings reflected his generous spirit and love of bringing people together.
Joseph is survived by his four children: two daughters and two sons. He will be laid to rest near his father, Allyn Lee Hartnell, where they will rest together in eternal peace.
