Born on January 3, 1996, in the vibrant city of Las Vegas, Nevada, Kelsey Marie Figard graced the world with her presence, bringing with her an innocence and beauty that touched many lives. On September 8, 2026, Kelsey found eternal peace, embraced by the love of the Lord. After years of struggle and heartache, she now resides among angels, free from pain and sorrow.
Kelsey was the cherished daughter of Larry Alan Figard and Nicole Ann Riggio. Her family roots were deeply intertwined with love and resilience.
Throughout her life, Kelsey carried a childlike innocence and an unfaltering love for her twin sister Krystal, who always made Kelsey's eyes light up with joy. They shared a sibling bond that will forever continue, even after death.
Kelsey's personality, innocence and radiant smile had the power to brighten the darkest of days. Her heart was as big as Texas. Kelsey loved chasing rainbows, and felt that if she could find the end, all her dreams would come true. She loved to sit outside, close her eyes, and feel the sunlight on her face. She was a true child of God, finding solace in simple pleasures like playing in the rain and listening to music. Her passion for art and drawing was a testament to her creative spirit, and though she never fulfilled her dream of becoming an artist, her love for art remained an integral part of her identity.
Kelsey’s journey was marked by challenges, yet she maintained an unwavering spirit. Though she never found her true love, she was surrounded by her loving family.
She is now reunited with her grandparents, Carmon Figard, Ken, and Sonia Riggio; step-grandparents Charlotte and Dail Ireland; Uncle Mark Weaver and best friend Mike Hawkins.
She is survived by her father, Larry Figard (Charlotte Ireland); mother Nicole Ann Riggio; sister, Krystal Figard; stepsister, Amy Gedding; Aunts Rohnda Carallo and Jessica Figard; Uncle's Henry NG, Von Champagne, and cousins, Morgan Moore, and Jeffrey Tufford.
Kelsey’s journey may have been filled with struggle and pain, but she never gave up. She now dances among the stars, free and happy in the arms of our lord. Kelsey is dancing with the angels, living in God's garden. Her dreams finally came true; she is free
