Melissa Marie Miley was born on February 20th, 1971 in Covina, California. She lived near the beaches in California for 26 years before moving to Bullhead City, Arizona where she lived near the Colorado River until she passed away on September 11th, 2026.
Melissa was a caring and loving soul and spread love and made friends wherever she went. She was loved by everyone she met, and made them feel loved in return. She was a beach lover and an enthusiastic surfer girl at heart. Her profound love for the water, whether ocean shores or flowing river, reflected a life lived with fluidity, freedom, and joy. The water was her happy place, no matter where it was. Most of all, she was a devoted mother before all else; she anchored her world in the unwavering care and prioritization of her children.
Melissa was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jim and Betty, and was survived by her mother, Linda; her sister Michelle and brother-in-law Tom, and her brother Justin and his partner Luella; and her children: Dominick, Anthony and daughter-in-law Grace, and Austin; and her loving partner, Chad.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 27. 2026 at 11 am at Dimond and Sons Silver Bells Chapel, 2620 Silver Creek Road, Bullhead City, AZ.
