Cynthia, it was a pleasure finally meeting you. We knew so much about you and michael it was an honor to attend the memorial at Fort Sam cemetery . Your parents are so wonderful and so lucky to have you as their daughter you are truly blessed with such a wonderful family. As my daughter put it. Michael will be remembered as the man who lived on a boat. Your guardian angel.

Michael, I will very much miss our spirited "discussions" over the years. I know you were almost always "right" and when you weren't, I was wrong. We'll never forget coming back to the Rio to our "Welcome Home" sign made out of Maxi-Pads. The many hilarious Phase 10 games we had were truly memborable for our imitation of the British Raj. I still remember my aching sides.You are a great American and more importantly, a good man. I will miss you, my friend.

Michael we have shared lots of laughs throughout the years and we will miss you.  Though you are gone the memories of all the good times we spent at the lake will not be forgotten. It was once explained to me by you that "you cannot drink wine out of a plastic cup, as you poured your wine from a box Ha ! Ha!" I will miss your mental sparing. I miss you so...We had so many great times. I miss your humor--"Ah, so round, so firm, so fully packed."; your support when Roy and Cindy said "it'll be fine" when planning on leaving sun and calm anchorages for an adventure under dark clouds; your sweet tones in the morning "Lyric! Get up--we're burning daylight!"; gut bombs in every city we visited. So many...too many. You were so loved and I cherish our friendship--even when we were debating. Rest peacefully in God's arms. Michael I will miss you greatly.  I will always remember you as 'Moaning Mike' and for those not familiar that would be '8 Bamboo', I think of the great times we had in Guatemala and your friendship throughout all of our trips hither, thither and yon.  I will always remember you as a warrior, a patriot and the best of friends.  You will be sorely missed.

The earth has lost an amazing man. I was his first wife. God gave Cindy and I each 23 years with him. I find myself honored to have brought two fantastic children into being with him. Remembering all the good times and fun.

Fair winds my friend!!

We will miss all our game times and how sometimes the rules were changed.  The many laughs we shared and I will think of you each time I have a gummy bear.  You touched our hearts and there you will always stay.  Love and miss you.

Dad was a good man. He cared for his family & his country. He served both well. His life was too short and we will miss him dearly. He taught me many lessons. He helped me become a man and his example is helping me still. I will teach my son the many things helped me learn. In this way he lives on always. In loving memory of you, Father, mentor, friend.
