Nadine Velda Gurriere passed to her heavenly home on Sunday, August 24, 2025 in Bullhead City, Arizona at the age of 93. She was born on May 15, 1932 in Bird City, Kansas, the daughter of Bruce Arlington Mackey and Ruth (Cotton) Mackey Foley. Nadine grew up in McCook, Nebraska and graduated from McCook High school. In 1952, Nadine married Wayne R. Matson of Culbertson, Nebraska having one son, Darrell Wayne Matson. In 1975, Nadine married George Samuel Gurriere and he proceeded her in death on April 4, 1991; only son, Darrell Wayne (Matson) Gurriere died September 1, 2022, three brothers, Harold Mackey, Donald Mackey and Michael Foley and sister Karen Foley Shaffer also proceeded her death. Nadine lived in Rubidoux, Anaheim, Costa Mesa and Santa Ana California and after retirement, moved to Bullhead City, Arizona. During her life, you could say she had a brown thumb, but, nonetheless, enjoyed gardening, fishing and camping and had her family as favorite activities.
Nadine is survived by one daughter; Dennice Huffman, and sister, Katherine Peters of California. Seven grandchildren, Five great grandchildren and one great-great grandson, and many relatives and long-time friends.
Services will be held at Christian Growth Fellowship 1863 E Panadero Rd Fort Mohave, AZ 86426
on Saturday, September 20, 2025 3:00 P.M. Minister Pastor Jerry Duke will be officiating.
