A long time ago, you told me that something was ''as funny as a screendoor on a submarine".  I haven't seen a picture of a submarine or heard the word submarine since without thinking of you. No one could ask for a better cousin than you were to me! Somehow I think that dying is not so bad, even if we just go back to where we came from. My days are numbered too!

One of the most gracious and hospitable men I have met in my lifetime. He treated us like sons when visiting with Todd. God bless you and your family, peace be with you all.

Rick, 38 years is a long time to konw someone and maintain a friendship through the years. Yes a long time. I remember Todd and Mike crawling around on the carpet, the motorcycle shop, hunting trips, you getting buck fever in a patch of trees when 5 deer ran out from under you feet. You yelled out "deer, deer" we yelled back "shoot em, shoot' em". Yes, you were "brushing" we just didn't tell you what that was. The first time we got to know each other, other than at AMI (won't let the boys know about our partying there) was when you were fishing with one of the boys in Idaho S of Pocatello. You had driven your car (Oldsmobile) on to a canal bank and it had started to slide toward the canal....nice one Rick... I came with 4WD trk and pulled you to safety. That started me wondering about those Californias coming to Idaho. Lots of memories. I miss you, you are my brother. You have been great to our children. Our families best to your family. Rich, you are truly one in a million. You never once complained about your fight with cancer or the suffering you endured. I admire and respect the man you were and the life you lived.  What a testamony you have been to me and many others just by being you. You and I had a connection and a bond that can never be broken, not by death or anything else.  I miss you dearly my friend.  I miss your smile, your laughter, your sense of humor, your humbleness, your will and courage to keep fighting, I simply miss YOU. Todd, your dad showed my family and others, as I watched him, so much generosity. Its easy to see how he was so loved by you Amy and the kids. Treasure those great memories until you see him again! Love Phil, Charmane and the kids...

Todd and Amy, We love your Dad(Dad in Law). Greatness comes in many forms and sizes and he was one of the best. I never heard him complain about the cancer that he was fighting. The many times that i was around him, he always had a great sense of humor, helped anyone and everyone that has a need and had many friends.  I enjoyed his company, his stories and they way he lived his life. A part of every man is found in him and we all connected with that part of his life.  He was generous with all that he had. We will miss him greatly but.....he lives on in each of us and we will never forget him. We know he is on to his next journey leading the way for us like he did so many times here.
