Richard C. Norman passed away at home in Ft. Mohave on Friday, March 1, 2024 after a brief courageous battle with cancer. The last of 7 children born March 28, 1930 to Frank and Margaret Norman (Nee Scheffuel) at home in Centerville, South Dakota. As a lad after moving to Brooklyn, he became a hardworking salesman. Not only selling papers though, also shining shoes.
In 1947 he enlisted in the US Army. Sent to Korea at the age of 17. California beckoned in the 50's with many jobs to follow.
The highlight of his career was working for Sparkletts Drinking Water Corporation for 23 years. Retiring to Ft. Mohave Arizona and being a blackjack and poker player. He loved the close proximity to Laughlin. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Diane; sons Richard and Robert and grandson Robert Jr. Also, his sister in law, Kay and family and brother in law Bill and family.
A special thank you to the angels of Compassus for their special love and care.
