Robert Myron Ruchti

Robert (Bob) Ruchti, age 79, of Bullhead City, AZ (formerly of Andover, MN), passed away peacefully on March 8, 2025, with his wife and daughters by his side. Bob was born in Willmar, MN, and moved to the Twin Cities after high school. He married his high school sweetheart, Joanne (Donner), and they celebrated 60 years of marriage. In 1972, they moved to Andover, MN, where they raised their two daughters.

Bob enjoyed watching NASCAR, football, and any news channel. He loved camping, boating, snowmobiling (as a member of the original Sno-Baron’s snowmobile club), ATV riding, and spending time with his grandsons and great-grandchildren. He was the BEST girl Dad ever!

Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Joanne (Donner) Ruchti; daughters Dawn Marchiafava (Harvey) and Tammy Hayft-Fields (Bret); grandchildren JT (Megan) Marchiafava, Kyle (Katy) Marchiafava, Tucker Horn, Tyler Hayft (fiancée Victoria), Aaron Hayft, Kayla (Kyle) Bleeker, Lauren Fields; and great-grandchildren Lincoln, Oaklyn, Elouise, Beau, Logan Marchiafava and Emery Bleeker. He is also survived by his sister, Kathleen (Dave) Leidheiser, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Katherine Ruchti; mother-in-law, Gladys Donner; sisters-in-law, Judy Beck and Delores Leonard; and brothers-in-law, Arlen Donner and Jerome Bernardy.

A private memorial service will be held sometime this summer in MN.
