She passed away on September 4, 2023, peacefully surrounded by family after a hard-fought battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease). Shelly was survived by her loving husband Victor and children, Laci, Brandon, Kaili and her 4 grandsons Dyron, River, Tanner and Henry. Shelly was 50 year resident of Mohave County and lived 35 years in Golden Shores Arizona.
Shelly met Victor Hewlett, the love of her life the summer of 8th grade . They were happily married for 40 years and had a true story book marriage. She graduated from Mohave High School in 1981.
Shelly acquired her Aesthetician license in 2020. She was a co-owner of Southwest Water Inc. for 18 years in Topock, AZ. She had many passions. She loved beauty, fashion and traveling. Shelly traveled to Maui, New York and spent the last 20 summers in Dana Point California, her home away from home. Shelly was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. Loving her family is what put a smile on her face everyday. She is a shining example of never giving up and always staying positive. "Don't sweat the small stuff," was her daily motto to live by.
We will celebrate Shelly's life with family and close friends. You may be gone, but you will never be forgotten, We love you Mom.
