Born on August 21, 1956, in Greenfield, Ohio, Steven lived a life marked by adventure, resilience, and a deep love for his family. In the late 1970s, he moved west to California, where he built lasting friendships and embraced new experiences. During his years there, many of his friends came to know him by the nickname “Roy,” a name that stayed with him throughout much of his life. In the early 1980s, he relocated to Colorado before eventually settling in Fort Mojave, Arizona, where he found the place he would call home for many years.
Steven was known as a good man, a stand-up man, and someone whose word meant something. He was tough when life called for it, dependable when others needed him, and loyal to the people he cared about. Throughout his life, he built strong friendships and earned the respect of those around him through his character, work ethic, and willingness to help others.
He is survived by his son, Eric Rodgers; his daughter, Angela; and his four beloved grandchildren, Andrew, Allison, Emma Jo, and Colby. He also leaves behind many dear friends and extended family members who will miss his strength, friendship, humor, and presence.
Steven’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His family takes comfort in the many memories he leaves behind and in knowing that his legacy is one of loyalty, strength, friendship, and love.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Diamond & Sons Funeral Home, 2620 Silver Creek Road, Bullhead City, Arizona. Family and friends are invited to attend and share in remembering and honoring Steven’s life.
