Shirley Ann Coates

Shirley Ann Coates, age 55, of Bulls Gap, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at her residence. She was a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Allen B. Coates Sr. and Dollie Dean Coates; and brother, Allen B. “Dinky” Coates Jr. Survivors include her sisters, Janice (Eddie) Cinnamon and Donna Gladson, all of Bulls Gap; special friend, Randy Hickman; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Bulls Gap Funeral Home on Sunday, November 20 at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. George McCoy officiating. Family and friends will meet in Fairview Cemetery in Mohawk on Monday at 1:45 p.m. for a 2:00 p.m. graveside service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 – 8:00 p.m. on Sunday prior to the funeral services. Arrangements are by Bulls Gap Funeral Home.
