Daniel Patrick Maquindang

Daniel Patrick Maquindang, a man of boundless curiosity and intelligence, passed from this life on August 30, 2025 at the age of 36. Born on November 3, 1988, Daniel touched many lives with his generosity and unwavering spirit of perseverance.

Daniel’s giant heart had no limits to the amount of love and care he provided. He not only took in endless amounts of plants and animals and nourished them with love, but also took in everyone he loved and cared for every need, big or small. Every one of us had our own special relationship with Daniel, which he nourished and poured so much love into. Every inch of Daniel’s love shone through every meal he cooked, every word he wrote, and every sassy comment he made.

There are no words that can express how grateful and blessed we are to have had Daniel in our lives, even if it was for just a moment. Although Daniel’s physical presence may no longer grace our lives, his memory will continue to inspire and encourage us to love a little harder.

Daniel is survived by his parents, Guadalupe Picarello and Deomides Maquindang, Stepmother, Nancy Maquindang, Stepfather, Craig Walsh, five siblings, Lauren Maquindang, Brandon Maquindang, Jordan Maquindang, Harvy Tagle, and Hanna Tagle, three nieces and nephew, Ari Maquindang, Emani Maquindang, Maverick Coleman, and Camila Maquindang. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
