Edward Charles Viskocil

Edward was born in Chicago, IL. to Charles Viskocil and Anna Vratney who owned a milk dairy. Ed Service in the US Navy during World War II in the Pacific.

He graduated from Northern Illinois University with a teaching degree. There he met and married Peggy Taylor. They moved to Burbank, CA in 1956 where he taught at John Burroughs High School for 30 years.

Ed is survived by his wife of 68 years and the loving father of Kathy Van Sickle (Jim), Dave (Gail), Kenneth, Tom and James, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

A visitation will take place at Valley Funeral Home in Burbank on Monday, July 8, 2019 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in North Hollywood on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at 10:00am. Burial at San Fernando Mission Cemetery immediately following.
