I remember distinctly meeting Gail for the first time and how quickly she disarmed my fears of meeting Camille’s parents. She was kind and friendly. Over the years, she continued to welcome me into her family and was a perpetually nice person to me. She was similarly ecstatic when I asked her and Wally for their blessing to marry Camille. I could hardly finish my question before she hugged me and said “of course!”.
Later, she couldn’t hide her love for Juliette. You could always tell the excitement she had when the opportunity arose to spend time with this new partner in crime. Gail turned into a kid and would play with Juliette for hours and hours. Juliette still asks for Grandma Gail because she misses her so much. 

I was so lucky to have her as a mother in law. 

Gail - Thank you for your kindness and for welcoming me into your family all those years ago.

Gail was like a second mom, especially in my elementary years at Canterbury and middle school at Nobel where I was best friends with Jesse. I remember hanging out with Jesse for sleepovers and Gail would be sharing jokes over meals, laughs with whatever we may be watching (especially during classic Adam Sandler movies like Waterboy - I think I saw this movie like 10+ times with Jesse at their house and she must’ve thought we were nuts lol), and feed us to our heart’s content.

I always admired how she managed being so funny/fun to be around yet simultaneously a disciplinary and respected parent for Jesse and Camille. I sincerely appreciated how I was always welcome to comeby and feel like I had a second home - Gail created that safe environment for us and I always felt like family. 

Thank you Gail for being an amazing mom and person to so many of us as friends of your children, in ways that we will hold onto forever.

I loved Gail and her laugh. I know that she and Wally were in love. They seemed so content and comfortable together when I would visit them. We would hang out in their living room and laugh at each other's stories. Gail's laughter was alwas there, even when she was not completely amused. I met her when I was about nine or ten years old. I remember thinking to myself what a lucky man Wally was.

I met Gail when we were in our early 20's, co-workers in an accounting office.  We soon became friends, having lunches together and going out on weekends.  It wasn't long before I introduced her to my cousin Wally and sparks immediately flew between them.  Little did I know then, they were destined to be together, and she would become part of our family.
It was obvious to anyone who knew Gail, knew of her pride, dedication and true love for her family.  Wally, her companion and love of her life, Camille and Jesse, her most cherished jewels.
She had a wonderful sense of humor, always ready to share a laugh or a funny memory.
I will miss Gail at our family gatherings and send love and support to all of the Aguilars and Holt family.  God bless you and give you comfort.

As a caring aunt to my nephew, Wally and his dear wife, Gail Marie Aguilar and their dear children, Camille and Jesse, and their families, I want to express all my love and condolences to all of you.  God Bless You! 
Gail was so real in expressing her feelings.  I love the way she and Wally were present to my son Steve when he was so seriously ill.  Her heart was in the right place, always with her family.  God rest her soul.  May she rest in peace!

How I loved sharing family gatherings with Gail, the ultimate no-fuss lady who quietly moved mountains. My favorite event was Camille's Baby Shower. Gail organized food, table set-ups, a volunteer army, meals that started in the morning and games that lasted into the evening. The amazing part was she hardly spoke a word while pulling off a whole day's entertainment for seventy people. Everyone had a good time, an enormous supply of food and nice memories. 

I remember Gail loved to see her children laughing, Camille's special talent for roaring aloud made this clear; between the two of them, they'd have everyone in stitches. Gail, thanks for all the fun we shared enjoying Camille, Cliff and Juliette's special moments

Gail was the best wife and mother for my family.  She helped me in so many ways.  Especially When Walter Sr. Passed.  Gail helped me wrap the water pipes when they were freezing in Three Rivers.  I still have hand warmer she got me when my hands were freezing cold.  Rest In God’s peace with lots of love.

I will always remember Gail’s charm and grace, her incredible beauty and how she never seemed aware. Wally liked to call her Gail the fox, but she never really acted like one. I will always remember how Gail loved her Camille and Jesse and would do literally anything and everything for them. Those two and Wally were everything to her. I will always remember Gail and how she loved to laugh. She would giggle at things some people don’t even notice, like a hiccup or a small noise. And how Wally could make her laugh and vice versa. I will always remember how Gail and Wally were such a great team. Those two would work together so well on everything and just seemed totally in sync. But mostly I will always remember how Gail came into our lives, made such an impact and we will never, ever be the same. I miss Gail and think of her often. She was such a special person who was loved by all.

Some of the happiest years of my life were directly because of Gail and her husband Wally.  Being in my early 30's, at the beginning of my marriage, living in North Hollywood my husband and I reconnected with an old neighbor Wally and were happy to meet his wife Gail.  We spent quite a bit of time together.  Lots of weekend BBQ's and Trivial Pursuit marathons.  This progressed with adding kids to the mix.  Wonderful family fun.  And wonderful people.  When I had pneumonia Gail came over every day to pick up my oldest daughter and took care of her and Camille while I recovered.  We ended up moving to Florida not long after that, and I immediately missed our wonderful friends.

Gail was truly a woman of undeniable beauty, both inside and out. I’ll never forget looking at her in awe on the day she wed my cousin, Wally; simply put, she looked like a  fairytale princess. Over the years, I became aware of her quieter, deeper attributes. I witnessed her become a wonderful wife, always  loyal (though ready with a clever quip), and then become a loving and vigilant mother.
She will be missed at our family gatherings: her warm greeting, the delicious dishes she’d contribute, and her quiet conversations, always laced with dry humor. 
Gail is at peace now,. I am grateful for the faith that allows me to know she remains  an active member of the family.

It’s not often that people come into your life and have such an incredible impact the way Gail did for me.  Her relationship with Jesse wasn’t just as a mom, but also as one of his friends. She inspired me to want that with my own mom. As early as I can remember, Gail would always greet me with a big smile, while making sure us rambunctious and growing boys were always fed and entertained. From scaring us after watching a terrifying movie to getting me addicted to chocolate banana bread, Gail’s memory will always have a place in my heart. 

Thank you for taking me in with open arms and being my second mother. You are loved and will forever be missed 💖

My mom was one of my closest friends, greatest teachers, and fiercest advocates. Like any mother-daughter relationship, we had our ups and downs over the years but always came back to each other with love. As we both grew older, our bond only strengthened, especially when I became a mom myself and she became a grandma, a role she was born to play. Getting to see her relationship with my daughter blossom was so beautiful and I’ll forever be grateful of the memories I have of them together. Even though she won’t get to meet her future grandson in this world, I can feel the love she has for him and know she will continue to live on in our hearts, memories, and actions. My mom taught me to be a strong woman, compassionate human being, and loving mom and I’ll carry that with me always and pass on all she taught me to her grandchildren. Everyday my mom would drop me off at school. In elementary school, I would run along the fence as she drove off until I couldn’t see her. As I got older, my mom never stopped supporting me. One Thanksgiving she said the thing she was most thankful for was family, because without family, she felt she wouldn’t have much to live for. And that was evident in everything she did. My mom taught me how to be selfless and what true, unconditional love, looks like. I’m going to miss coming over and watching shows and movies with her. I am going to miss her telling me she loves me. I am going to miss being able to call her. But above all, I am just going to miss her. But even now, I am still that little boy, running along the fence, waving good bye to my mom until I can’t see her anymore. I love you Mom! Always and forever
