Gloria Ellen Russo

Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 26, 2010. She was born on September 20, 1922 in

Los Angles, California to Phillip and Grace Rizzo. She married Julius Russo on August 30, 1944 at the

San Gabriel Mission. He proceeded her in death in 1996. They were married for 51 years.

Gloria and Julio moved to Burbank in 1946 and have lived there ever since.

Gloria loved playing golf with the Lady Duffers at DeBell . She was also a gifted artist who enjoyed toll

painting .

She is survived by her three sons, John and his wife Bobbi and their sons Tony and Chris all of whom

reside in South Lake Tahoe. Jim and his wife Mary and their daughter Gloria of Sylmar. Jeff and his wife

Andrea and their children Ashley and Jonathan all from Burbank.

She also leaves behind many dear friends who she loved and cherished.

A rosary will be held on Monday, November 1, 2010 at 7:00 pm at the Valley Funeral Home located at

2121 W. Burbank Blvd, Burbank.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, November 2, 2010

at 10:00 am. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Hollywood .

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
