James was born in Sioux Falls South Dakota. He was blessed with 88 years of life. He married Dorothy Sever in September 1955. He leaves behind his legacy through his children John, Sheila, James Jr. and his grandchildren Jennifer, Bradford and Connor. James was an active member of Holy Angels Catholic Church for the Deaf and was honored by the Pope for his work in the deaf community. James passes on his legacy of family, love, devotion, selflessness, and acceptance.. He was an avid Angels and sports fan. He and Dorothy enjoyed playing cards and hosting friends for poker. He worked as a machinist until his retirement. He did all things through love and will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
