Jean was born in Iowa and later traveled to California with her twin sister, Jane, to begin a new chapter in their lives. She worked as a telephone operator and also spent time employed at Eastman Kodak.
Jean met her husband, John, and together they built a beautiful life. They owned Valley Flood Light, where Jean served as the office manager and was known for her dedication and hard work.
She had a generous heart and loved spending time with her family. Jean began traditions that have been carried on through her nieces and nephews, leaving a lasting impact on the generations who followed. Above all, she cherished her family—especially her twin sister, Jane, with whom she shared an unbreakable bond.
Jean is survived by her devoted twin sister, Jane. She was preceded in death by her siblings Dorothy, Merlin, Milo, Mildred, and Jimmy.
Jean leaves behind memories her loved ones will forever treasure. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit continues to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
A celebration of Jean’s life will be held at a later date, when family and friends will gather to honor the beautiful life she lived.
May she rest in peace.
