Born on June 14, 1927, in Campbell, Ohio to the late Jane and Lucian Miconi. Linda was a woman who defined her own path from an early age. A true force of nature, she lived a life marked by remarkable self-sufficiency, sharp wit, and an unwavering belief in her own capabilities.
In the early 1940’s, her parents settled in Glendale, CA where both her and her late brother, Joseph Miconi, Sr. attended Glendale High School. She later pursued a career as a hair dresser; however, she did not find satisfaction in the hair industry. Ultimately, she worked for different motion picture studios as an Executive Assistant and was a longtime resident of Burbank. Not one to let the grass grow under her feet, she traveled to and lived in Italy numerous times during her lifetime.
She also loved to write and wanted to write a script for a movie.
Linda was a private person; however, she was always willing to provide you with her own opinion.
One story sticks out about a young Italian woman with a cleft lip whom Linda developed a strong bond with. Linda showed her kindness by paying to have the woman brought to America for surgery to correct the deformity.
After her mother passed away in 2006, she bought a house in Burbank near the St Finbar Church. She attended church regularly and dreamed of going back to Italy.
Linda was married and divorced many years ago and did not have any children.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Lucian and Jane her brother, Joseph Sr. along with one great nephew, one great-great nephew and her most beloved dog in recent years, Diamond.
She is survived by her four nieces, Cathy, JoAnne, Linda and Maria, two nephews, James and Joseph Jr., 16 great nieces and nephews, 26 great-great nieces and nephews along with many cousins.
