Louis always was laughing. I worked with Louis on several shows at 495 Productions and he brought commitment, knowledge and fun to the time we worked on shows. It wasn't always work. I learned to lol, take it easy, I learned to manage my time. I'm happy I met him and I am grateful God placed him in life for the time we worked together. My heart aches thinking he is not with us in person but my heart is full because I know he is with God making him laugh. God Bless you all especially his family, Allison and children. I am with you in this time and always.

Lou came from Philly to New York City to help me over 20 years ago pack up my home and get it ready to move out of.
He was not a relative, he was just a friend of my daughter who had a heart of gold.
When his help was no longer needed and I drove him home to Harrisburg to his parents apartment. Once I met Monserrate and Louis Borreli  I knew why he was a special person that I felt and I need to know and love.
Just know that, “ God made memories so we can smell the roses in December.”

Alison, although never having met, I feel I knew you through the love and adoration that Ali would share. 
Thank you for loving him in a way only you could. You made him the happiest man in the world.  I KNOW that because of your love story, you will feel him in the warmth of the sun, the cool breeze through your hair and in the rumbling of the oceans waves. His forever gift to you. 
There is no doubt that you will share the twins’ daddy with them at every opportunity you can.  Watching them grow will be a lifelong treasure hunt where we will all be able to pick out the little details of their daddy in them. 
Patty, Louis & Kenny,  your encouragement, guidance and LOVE was evident in how he lived his every day life. He was able to give the world what he did because of your love. 
Ali was my big little brother. So many weekends with each other’s families.
I remember the time that Louis tied one end of a string around my stubborn loose tooth & the other end around an open door’s knob in the kitchen. Ali laughing the entire time leading up to it as if he knew what was coming next. 
But as that moment approached, Ali moved next to me so lovingly as a symbol of “I’ve got your back” and most likely to catch me if I happened to pass out! 
He was my camping partner!! Always by my side as we played lights out in the dark with only flashlights and the boogie man I swore was in the woods! Ali would run off at the moment of “lights out” only to rattle me a little like the big little brother he was but never went far. He knew I’d lose it if he did! 
And let me just say....I KNEW how to throw a mean football because of him! Spencer and Burchfield Sts...my classroom. 
I will forever be grateful for my big little brother. I wish time and distance were never a factor for us but despite it, the love stood strong. 
He earned his wings. God perfected them to fit the perfect being Ali was. 
Rest easy now big little bro. Love you! 

I only had the pleasure of knowing Lou after he moved out to Los Angeles but I became fond of him very quickly.  We were kindred spirits.  His one of a kind personalty was truly magnetic and I was happy to be able to spend any time I could with him, Allison, Aria and Lucas.  I know I am one of many who mourn his departure from this world but I am happy to have had him in my life for the short time it was.  I will do everything in my power to make sure his children know what a good man he was.  Rest in peace my friend.  I'll see you next lifetime.

My short time of knowing Lou was very special. It seems that Golf can bring anyone who plays the silly game close in an instant. Sub King was a spot we went to a few times (in Burbank by the 495 Offices) and I feel so blessed to have been able to spend time with him eating lunch and just chatting about life. A truly honest and loving person. I'm so lucky to have known him and won't forget him in forever. I wish we could have golfed together for the next 40 years. God rest his soul and I'll see you when I get there. Save me a spot in your foursome. I'm glad my final words in this life were "I love you Lou."

In this life it is easy to feel as if we never really know anyone.  I think this problem is exacerbated in a city like Los Angeles.  It's full of sound and fury (to borrow a term from someone much more eloquent than I) and often times it can feel lonely.  But Lou was an exception to that rule.  He was beautiful human being personified by a welcoming smile.  Since I heard of his passing, I've realized just how well I had gotten to know Lou over the years.  He was quick with a joke, always offered to buy you a beer at the Dodger's game and would politely give you a putt that was JUST a bit outside club length.  But what I remember most is how much he loved Allison and his kids.  It was all he ever wanted.  And while a good number of us ribbed him for his sentimentalism, I don't think a day will go by when all of us don't cherish the heart he had and that we briefly (far too briefly) got to know him on this rock we call Earth.  Rest in peace, Lou.  I'll miss you everyday, buddy. 

I worked with Lou briefly, but within that short amount of time there were two things I knew for sure. He loved loved loved his kids and wife and he was hilarious! I’m glad to have shared a few moments with you. Rest easy, Lou. You’ll be greatly missed. Condolences to his family and friends. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.
