Martha Jane Woodruff

of Burbank, has taken her final journey to Heaven on September 23, 2013.

She was born August 28, 1910 to Exman Clifton Lewis and Viola Jones Lewis in Dugger, Greene County, Indiana. Martha moved to Burbank, California around 1942 and worked in Aerospace. She was married to the late Lewis Edgar Woodruff in Burbank, 1953.

She was a active member at United Community Church in Glendale, CA for over 50 years. She loved to travel, and has traveled all over the world with her late husband , and her late brother, Amos Lewis, and sister-in-law, Elva Lewis.

Martha Jane is survived by her sister-in-law; Elva Lewis; stepdaughter, Diana Escoto, of Nevada.

Also survived by a niece, nephews and many many great nieces and nephews.

She was a life member with the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers for over 50 years.

Memorial services in her honor will be held at 10:45am on Sunday, October 6, 2013 at United Community Church in Glendale. After the memorial services, a luncheon will be held in her honor at the churches Heritage House.
