I remember spending my summers in Banuyo during my growing up years.Anong Pat would pick up Lola Imac & me in our house in Paranaque. He never fails to bring Lola some goodies every time he comes to visit her That's how thoughtful Anong is. On my first trip to the US, Anong took time off from work to pick me up at the airport. He was the ultimate tour guide. taking us to Beverly Hills and Rodeo Drive and downtown LA and even San Diego and probably Mexico(if only I have brought my passport with me)He would drive me to the outlet stores and places of shopping and to the best places to eat. On my trip back home, he bought me several boxes of Krispy Kreme. This was on top of his pasalubong that filled half of my balikbayan box. He also paid for the freight. On my 2nd trip to the US, Anong took me out to dinner on my birthday.That was really special . 
Soft spoken,kind hearted, humble, a loving son and a good father to his family- these are the exact words to describe you Anong Pat. 
You will always be in my thoughts and prayers. I will cherished the fun times we had and the memories we share with Lola Imac. 
Thank you Anong for the fond memories. Thank you for giving me the privilege of knowing you and being with you. Thank you for that chapter in my life. You will be missed but it comforts me that you are in a better place now. I can imagine you with Lola Imac exchanging stories and laughing . Rest well my Anong..

I remember Anong Pat as a generous, fun-loving and thoughtful cousin. On my first trip to the US in 2002, he brought me to the tourist spots, Marshall's, TJ max. Mula umaga hanggang gabi yun! Nung pauwi na ako, pinadalhan pa nya ako ng Krispy Kreme para makatikim dito sa Pilipinas.  At that time, wala pang Krispy Kreme dito. When I came back in 2009, now with the family, he willingly offered his time to bring us around.  These unselfish acts of kindness will forever be etched in our hearts. He was welcoming to his home as he has welcomed us in his life. Thank you, Anong Pat!

I am glad that we had the chance to be together during his last visit in the Philippines. I would miss his stories of yesteryears, his ready smile to everyone and his love of the buffet table... Hay, Anong... He is cherished, loved and will be sorely missed. May the Lord grant him eternal peace. May God's love embrace Ate Nora and the kids and grant them spiritual strength at this most difficult time. Same prayer goes to Ate Gaya & Kuya Rick, Ate Fides. Please accept our deepest sympathy. To my dearest dearest friend. I will miss you. The news of you passing on brought back memories of our times together. Most of it in the Philippines when we were young along with our barkadas, the "knickerbockers".It saddens me that we were in and out of touch through out the years. I will always remember Uncle Pat's kindness, which he shows every time we meet in our family reunions. He has a wide, open smile which I remember even to this day, which I'll always remember no matter where I am. His collection of Reader's Digest books, he gladly allowed me to peruse them. It was only a few times we've met, Uncle, yet those time I shall cherish. My sincerest condolences to the bereaved family members. God bless everyone.
