Paul Goodwin

Paul attended grammar school at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School, in North Hollywood, California, and he graduated from John Burroughs High School, in Burbank, California in 1963.

Paul started working for the City of Burbank right out of high school. He was there for Forty-eight years, until he was injured on the job and had to retire; He really wanted to make it to fifty.

Paul served in Vietnam, driving a gasoline tanker truck seven miles from the DMZ. He was brought home from Vietnam before the end of his tour because of the death of his father, and went back to work at the City of Burbank.

Paul passed away March 23, 2022, at his home in Burbank.

Paul is survived by his brother Tom, sister-in-law, Colleen, niece Shannon, brother-in-law Gordon, nephew Tim, nieces Terrie and Tina, along with Great nieces and nephew and several great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.

The Visitation will be April 21, 2022 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm at Valley Funeral Home, 2121 W Burbank Blvd, Burbank, CA. A funeral Mass will be held on April 22, 2022 at 12:00 noon, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church located at 10800 Moorpark St., North Hollywood, CA. Paul will be laid to rest at San Fernando Mission Cemetery.
