Susan's role as "Lana" on Family Affair made that one of my favorite episodes.
So talented and so generous.
Rest in Peace, Susan.

Hi Carol,
I was inspired yesterday morning to try to find Susan again, I did and am heartbroken. I am sorry I didn't know of Susan's passing until now and send you my deepest condolences. I loved her so much and have many regrets about how I allowed us to drift apart as we did. I have thought about her a lot over the years. I can say this and she doesn't know it but Susan honestly saved my life. And it's true Heaven has gotten a whole lot funnier with her presence.
Much Love,
Martha Quinn Saldumbide

You popped into my mind this morning and once again I was driven to try and find you. I am incredibly sorry I was unaware of the opportunity to say goodbye and even more that you have passed. Susan I have missed you over the years and from the bottom of my heart I apologize for any harm I caused in our friendship. You have always been in my heart. I’m sorry I wasn’t there for you in the end. You were a big part of my life, more than you know. I will go so far to say that you saved my life with the thoughtful (and brave) wedding gift you gave me. Ain’t no mountain high enough to keep me from thinking of you. ❤️

Just saw you on the To Rome With Love episode "Transformation". Really great performance! I was going to see if their was a way to write to you. Sadly No--you were just 2 and a half years older than me. Also saw you on 2 Getting Together episodes. I think that's where you hit your high note. Really a shame one of my Fav singers Bobby Sherman's show didn't last. Seen you on Family Affair, Partridge Family, you name it! Never saw one bad performance from you. Sad to find out you've passed away so young. RIP--one of my Favs from Back In The Day!

RIP, Susan, my grade-school friend and classmate.

Susan was a gem as a child actress…. Bright, and quite a talent for someone so young. Deeply saddened to hear of her passing. Sincere condolences to her family. Greetings from Nova Scotia Canada 🇨🇦

Liked this lady because she was a lot like my little sister. Thanks for doing the Movie Star thing for a little while so we could all know you.

RIP to "Family Affair" character Buffy Davis's friend "Lana, my beautiful Lana!" and Joanie in the original "Happy Days" pilot.

Rest in Peace, Susan. Never will you be forgotten.

Very sad to hear Susan passed away. When I was little, I was so jealous because she was on my favorite TV shows-and with Bobby Sherman! Prayers for her family.

I'm so sorry for the loss of Ms. Neher. I just watched an episode of "Family Affair" in which she played a latchkey kid, and was saddened to learn that she had recently passed away. May the Lord comfort you and give you strength, and may your memories of Susan in time bring you joy.

With sincerest condolences,
Carmen
