Adele Farina

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother after a short courageous battle with cancer, at the age of 76 years. Adele will be sadly missed and forever remembered by her children Beatrice (Giovanni), Giovanni (Lorena), her loving grandchildren Brianna (Patrick), Joseph, Anthony, Antonio, Jenessa and great-grandchildren Hannah and Hunter. She was a kind and loving person who enjoyed every moment with her family and friends. She always had great concern for everyone's well-being. She had a warm and generous heart and will be remembered by many. Mom is now reunited with the love of her life Antonio and both can continue to watch over their family. Special thanks to all the staff who cared for Mom at the Royal Columbian Hospital and Eagleridge Hospital. A Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, May 27 at Bell and Burnaby Funeral Chapel, 4276 Hastings St. Burnaby. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 28 at St. Helen's Catholic Church, 3860 Triumph St., Burnaby. The entombment will follow at Ocean View Burial Park in the South Mausoleum, Burnaby. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the BC Cancer Foundation.
