1932 – 2015
Passed peacefully on March 29, 2015 in Burnaby, BC. Predeceased by his loving wife Christel, Alfred is survived by his son Andy (Moureen), daughter Susan (John) and grandchildren Cohen, Hunter and Tyler. He is also survived by his three sisters in Germany Traudel (Siegfried), Emmi and Ermgard and their families. His favourite "grand dogs" Buddy and Daisy will miss him immensely. They will fondly remember endless attention, marathon walks and gourmet meals. Alfred was a hardworking man who loved good beer and wine, good friends and woodworking. A devoted family man whose sense of humor and strong values will be missed. Graveside Service will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park on Wednesday April 8, 2015 at 10:30am.
