Alma Miquiabas Somido, 84 of Vancouer B.C. has gone home to be with the Lord she loved on April 16, 2022.
Alma was born on January 10th, 1938 on a small island in the Philippines. In 1967, Alma left the Philippines for Canada to pursue her dreams of becoming a nurse, leaving her beloved family and friends behind. She used her work as a nurse, and her joy for life to dedicate herself to caring for others. She was a loving, thoughtful and generous person. She was a blessing to all who met her, and will be remembered lovingly by her friends and family.
We would like to give a special thank you to Alma’s caregivers and nurses in her final days. You are truly a blessing. Additionally, we would like to thank all of the family and friends who stopped by to visit, connect and brought joy during her difficult time.
A viewing will be held at 10:30 am followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am at Guardian Angels Parish, 1161 Broughton St. Vancouver, BC V6G 2B3 on May 4th, 2022 at 10:30 A.M. Graveside Service will follow at Ocean View Burial Park – South Mausoleum at 1:00 P.M.
