It is with great sadness and deep love and gratitude for a life well-lived, that the family of Al Liebelt share the news of his passing on May 9, 2025, aged 91 years. Al spent most of his life in Vancouver, British Columbia where he had a long and interesting career as an electrical engineer and, most importantly, enjoyed time spent with family and friends.
He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered by his wife Ruth, children Kathy, Karen (Brett), Graham (Shelley) and his beloved grandchildren Liam, Jordan, Ryan, and Brayden. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to all who cared for Al at St. Vincent’s Langara Long-Term Care in the final months of his life.
A celebration of Al’s life will be held on June 14, 2025 at 11:00am at Ocean View Funeral Home, 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby, BC.
